John J. O'Neill

John O’Neill, a 45-year resident of Bowie, MD passed away on February 12, 2020. Born on July 12, 1931 and raised in Lykens, PA, his love for that area never faded, despite having traveled the world while in the Air Force and as a career civil servant with the National Security Agency. Affectionately known as Jack and JJ, family and friends were his top priorities in life, and he cared for them deeply. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Nancy, as well as his siblings Robert (Bobby), James, Jean, and Mary Jane. He is survived by his brother Joseph, his sons John and Douglas, and his daughter Beth and their families. He was PopPop to 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
