Joseph A Croman, age 44 of Crownsville, MD passed away on October 9th, 2024.
Joe was born in Marlton, NJ on March 7th, 1980, to Robert Croman and Sujen (Gorsky) Croman. After graduating from Cherokee High School, Joe attended Rowan University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics with Magna Cum Laude honors and later went on to obtain his Master’s in Physics from Bryn Mawr College.
Joe was a dedicated civilian servant to the U.S. Navy with many contributions as a Senior Research Physicist for the Naval Research Laboratory, a physicist at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, and an Analyst for the Office of Naval Intelligence. Joe was also an affiliate of the Directed Energy Professional Society.
Joe is survived by Nhu, his wife, and his sister, Sun. He will be missed by family, friends and his dogs Zoey and Parker. He was a Phillies fan and enjoyed time with his beloved dogs, the late Rocky, Eve, Diesel, Chichi, Pinny, and Lili. Joe was a huge proponent of adoption and supporting animal shelters.

A funeral service will be held at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland.
November 1st, 2024 from 11AM - 2PM.
This will be followed by a small family graveside gathering at Hillcrest Cemetery in Annapolis, Maryland.
