Joseph Jerome Walsh

Born on 8 May 1941 in Washington, D.C.  Mr. Walsh was deeply rooted in his faith and community, as he served as an altar server and a Boy Scout.

Mr. Walsh was an accomplished athlete and most notably a gifted tennis player.  Mr. Walsh made an exemplary career in both sales and insurance and won many awards throughout his lifetime.  Mr. Walsh attended Gonzaga High School and the University of Maryland and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth A. Walsh, and two daughters, Lisa A. Edwards and Bridget M. Walsh. His son, Patrick J. Walsh, died on 19 March 2019.

He is also survived by his four beloved granddaughters, Christine (Andrew), Courtney, Amanda (Wayne), and Jacquelyn, and seven great-grandchildren: Liam, Owen, Analeigh, Lillian, Charlotte, Mia, and Gavin.
