On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Keith entered into eternal rest to be with the Lord. Keith was a native of Washington, DC. He was the second son of Manning Thomas Jackson and Jennie M. Jackson. He attended public schools in Washington, DC graduating from Ballou Senior High School, and attended Howard University.

Keith worked a number of jobs in the hospitality field. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of Reid Temple A.M.E. Church.

He enjoyed being with his friends and family. He also enjoyed taking short trips to visit his grandparents and a host of extended family members in Louisa County, Virginia and Caswell County, North Carolina.

He was married to Portia N. Lyons, and they had one son Keith Jackson, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his wife Portia, his father Manning Sr, and his brother Manning Jr. He is survived and leaves to cherish loving memories of his son Keith Jackson, Jr of Bowie, Maryland, mother: Jennie Jackson of Washington, DC, sister: Marcia Jackson Henry of Clinton Maryland, two nieces Markiya and Troi, aunts, uncles, cousins, mother in law, sister in law, brother in law, neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Jimenez and a host of other relatives and friends.
