KITTY PHILLIPS POTEAT
Kitty Phillips Poteat, 82, a resident of Bowie, MD passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025 in Bowie, MD. Beloved wife of Paul (Eddie); loving mother of Michele and Jason Poteat, both of Bowie; and cherished grandmother of Stephanie Cizek of Westminster, MD. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Phillips and mother, Helen Taylor Phillips. Also, sisters Anne Smith and Joyce Hodges; and brothers Richard (Sonny) Higgs, and Dale Phillips.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday December 19, 2025 at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, MD. Also a viewing on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 10 a.m. with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5001 Church Road, Bowie. MD 20720.
A private burial will follow the service.
