Larry Dowe Hall

Larry Dowe Hall was called to his heavenly home on September 4, 2022.  He was born February 3, 1942, in Salisbury, Maryland to the late Norman Edward Hall and Daisy Pearl Hooper Hall. He was also proceeded in death by three older sisters, Rachel Hooper Perdue, Norma Lou DeStefano, and Nellie Ann Hall.

Surviving is his devoted wife of 57 years, Margaret “Joanne” Boden Hall, two children, Kimberly Anne (Joshua), and Darren Dowe (Michelle), and seven grandchildren, Jacob, Aubrey, Jonah, Marley, Jesse, Sydney, and Drew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Larry worked for the Federal Government at the Government Printing office in Washington D.C. for 37 years.

A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, he was a member of Riverdale Baptist church for nearly 40 years where he often served on the Deacon Board.

His children and grandchildren were the light of his life and he never missed an opportunity to attend any event they were participating in.  He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his Orioles and Ravens.  He loved traveling with Joanne and spending time at their mountain home in the Smoky Mountains where he would visit with his East Fork family. Larry enjoyed nothing more than sharing a good meal with his family and friends, telling stories, listening to gospel music, and making memories with Joanne by his side.

A visitation service will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD  20715 on Thursday, September 8^th between 6:00-8:00 pm.  A funeral service will be held at Riverdale Baptist Church, 1177 Largo Rd, Upper Marlboro, MD  20774 on Friday, September 9^th at 12:30 pm.  A burial service will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD  21035
