Laureen D. Estep

Beloved wife and mother, Laureen “Laurie” Danette Estep, passed away the afternoon of March 21, 2026 at the age of 67 at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.

Laurie retired from Wal-Mart after 30 years of service where she made many friends. To those who knew her, she was a kind and generous woman who always wanted to help others. Laurie was a known Halloween enthusiast who brought joy to the neighborhood children with her elaborate yard decorations. Laurie was a dedicated donor to Toys 4 Tots collecting toys all year long to give. Laurie loved cats, baking, walking and spending with her family. She will be greatly missed.

A viewing is to be held Beall’s Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland on March 26 from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to A Cat’s Life Rescue, Prince George’s County. https://www.acatsliferescue.org/
