It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the unexpected passing of our beloved brother, Leopold Learie Fritzgerald Lynch, who passed away at his residence on May 30th, 2025 at the age of 58.
Leopold was born on December 16th, 1966, in Grangehill, Westmoreland, Jamaica to Noel and Lucille Lynch. He grew up in Jamaica and migrated to the United States at the age of 14 where he attended and graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland. After high school he went on to Prince George’s Community College where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Psychology.
He will forever be remembered for his sense of style, adoration for music, passion for cars, fondness for family, and talent for art. His many talents were recognized by two art scholarships from schools in California and Florida, unique paintings held in his mother’s residence, and the transmission of creativity and ingenuity to his dear nieces and nephews who he supported with every ounce of his love.
Leopold is survived and missed by his loving mother, Lucille Lynch; his sisters, Paulette, Jennifer, Rose, Avon (Janet), Sophia, Latoya; nieces and nephews; Keisha, Kareem, Kheon, Khori, Davion, Neva, Bianka, Juan, Mauricio, Lester, Ramario, Fredrick, Ian; and by numerous cousins, great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on June 13th, 2025, at 10am, at Beall Funeral Home, in Bowie, Maryland. Optional: A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9am to 10am.
Though he is no longer with us, Leopold’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on in all who knew him and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christ House at christhouse.org/donate/ways-to-give.
