Leslie Barbara Joy

On February 1, 2026, Leslie Barbara Joy, formerly of Bowie, Maryland, passed away after a brief illness.

Born to Winslow H. Joy, Sr. and Barbara N. Joy, Leslie was a graduate of Bowie Senior High School, Class of 1976 and a faithful member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church.

She dedicated many years of her professional life to Maryland National Bank, where she served as Assistant Vice President, and later continued her career at the University of Maryland.

Upon her retirement, Leslie relocated to Sarasota, Florida, where she embraced the coastal lifestyle. Alongside her beloved miniature schnauzer, Maui, she built lasting friendships and found joy in her community

Leslie was preceded in death by her parents, Winslow H. Joy, Sr. and Barbara N. Joy. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Winslow H. Joy, Jr. (Rebecca); her nieces, Leslie M. Joy (Nick) and Mary K. Joy (Derek); and by extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.

Family and friends are invited to gather on February 23, 2026, at Beall Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with private interment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
