In loving memory of a devoted daughter, a loyal friend, and an advocate for justice, we are saddened to announce the death of Lisa Renee Ransom on January 19, 2023, following a brief illness. Lisa was 61 years old and resided in Bowie Maryland. She is survived by her mother Brenda Stevenson, an uncle, Alfred Hammond, several cousins, and numerous friends all of whom deeply loved her. Services are scheduled for January 27, 2023 at the 19th Street Baptist Church 4606 16th St. NW Washington, D.C. 20011 with a viewing from 10-11am directly followed by a celebration of her life. A private family interment is scheduled for January 28 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland.
