Margaret Ann Doyle

June 27, 1943 — December 28, 2025

Crofton

Margaret Ann (Belloma) Doyle, age 82, peacefully transitioned to eternal life on Sunday, December 28, 2025 after a 13-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Beloved mother of Denise Ann Harbaugh (Ronald) of Crofton, MD and Lawrence Samuel Doyle of Chester, MD. Devoted Nonna to grandchildren Josephine Lee Harbaugh of Crofton, MD and Marley and Landon Doyle of Chester, MD. She was preceded in death by son Douglas Matthew Doyle.

Born in Sewickley, PA on June 27, 1943 to the late Louis and Josephine (Prastina) Belloma, she was raised on Neville Island, PA, attended Neville Island High School and would fondly recall stories about her childhood on the Island, surrounded by her extended Italian family and many friends. After high school graduation she moved to Arlington, VA to begin her civil service career. She also got married and started a family. She retired from the FDIC in 2002 and moved to Bethany Beach, DE, where she made dear friends. In 2016 she moved to Crofton, MD to be closer to friends and family.

Marge was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: sisters Thomasine Eggie, Helen Finnie, Rose Phillips and brothers Joseph, Louis, Jr., Anthony and Gerald “Jerry”. She is survived by sister-in-law, Dolores “Dolly” Belloma of Neville Island, PA., ex-husband Samuel C. Doyle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind a multitude of cherished, long-time friends. Through the years Marge created wonderful memories for her children and friends, especially as a member of PWP, Nomad Chapter, where she hosted backyard Pig Roasts and car rallies and participated in crazy talent shows. She had a huge heart and welcomed all into her home for holiday gatherings. Her love for animals was well known. Her friends will fondly remember her dogs Shadow, Ruby and Peanut. She was a faithful member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Bowie, MD where she met many new friends, enjoyed her prayer and bible study groups and looked forward to the weekly luncheons.

Her wish was to be cremated and have her ashes spread in the ocean together with her beloved dogs. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. The family suggests any donations in her name be made to the Senior Dog Sanctuary, 8336 WB&A Road, Severn, MD 21144 or your local Animal Control/SPCA.
