Maria Olvido Parsons

Maria Olvido Parsons, of Lanham MD,  beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 85, June 12, 2025. Born in Spain on November 28, 1939, she was married to Peter E. Parsons and was the loving mother of Peter G. Parsons and Mary A. Figliozzi. She was a proud grandmother to Andrea, Christopher, and Marlena, and great-grandmother to Marcello and Luella. 

Maria retired from a dedicated career at Goddard Space Flight Center - NASA, as a spacecraft scheduler. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening, and caring for her cats. A devout Catholic, her faith was the foundation of her life. Maria will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
