Marilyn Marie Sears

Marilyn Marie Sears, 68, of Huntingtown, Maryland, passed away on April 26th, 2023. Marilyn was born on October 28th, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland to Jennie Lee Anderson. She attended Severna Park High School.

Marilyn's early career was as an office manager and administrative assistant, but she was best known for her hospitality. Her comfortably decorated holiday dinners warmed guests' hearts and filled there bellies with endless southern home cooking. Marilyn's hobbies included crafts, sewing, quilting, home cooking, especially lasagna.

Marilyn exuded happiness and brightened a room with her presence. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Marilyn was always thoughtful, and those she cherished received gifts of love because she was always thinking of them. Giving was her nature.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Robert Benjamin Sears Jr., her son, Daniel Allen Sears, daughter-in-law, Sarah Meyers Sears, grandson, Kevin Gregory Sears, son-in-law, John Wamble Wax, brother, Keith Anderson, and sister, Diana Razumich. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Robert Sears.

Viewings will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie Md 20715, on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. The service will also be held at Beall Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035 at 11:30 am on Thursday, May 4th, 2023.
