Marshall Ernest Cage

Marshall Ernest Cage of Crofton, MD died peacefully at home on July 6, 2022 at the age of 72. Preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers and sister. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Tricia, children, Christine Kenney, Tracy (Michael Hutman) Mann, Shilo (Cyndi Miles) Cage, Amanda (Frank) Speaks, Adam (Ashley) Cage, grandchildren, relatives, friends and his cat Willow. He served in the Army in Hawaii before finding his career in Field Engineering at Pepco. He briefly retired in 2012 before returning to the field with ART Engineering. In addition to his day job he worked part-time for many years at Staples Corner Liquors in Crofton where he enjoyed interacting with friends and customers in the community. He loved yard sale hunting, hosting family get togethers (with elaborate charcuterie selections), and sending his adult children home with groceries whenever they visited. He will be dearly missed. Friends received at celebration of life Saturday, August 6, at 12 pm, American Legion Crownsville Rd, Annapolis.
