Martha Talamini Wolf

  Martha Talamini Wolf, age 72, passed away suddenly late
Saturday March 19, 2022 in Bowie Maryland.

Born on December 4, 1949, Martha is survived by her husband
William; son Brian; daughter Lisa Klein (Kenny); grandchildren
Ethan, Audrey, Jacob, and Melanie; sister Celeste Hamilton (Rick);
and brother Mark Talamini (Carol). Plus many nieces, nephews,
and numerous loving friends.

Martha graduated from Moorestown High School, NJ, where she
enjoyed playing the trumpet as a member of their marching band as
well as guitar for her own pleasure. She graduated from Bob Jones
University where she majored in Elementary Education.
She started her teaching career at Surrattsville Elementary in
Prince Georges County, MD and completed her 34 years at Clinton
Grove Elementary.

A longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Bowie she
enjoyed her time in the Choir and Passion Plays as well as the
many other outreaches of the Church.

In 2015, Martha was diagnosed with MG or Myasthenia Gravis
as well as Adrenal Insufficiency but strove to continue her normal
life with the help of her fabulous doctors at Johns Hopkins.
She enjoyed her cats, gardening, bird watching, and reading.
She took her last cruise in 2018 returning to Bermuda. Just this
last summer she went camping in our Popup camper traveling to
the beautiful Maryland’s State Parks. Her passion was Seagrove
Pottery, every year she would try to take a trip to Seagrove, NC to
visit all the pottery galleries. Her favorite place was always the
beach with it’s shells and ocean. She loved everything about it.
A celebration of her life will be held April 9th at Grace Baptist
Church in Bowie, Maryland. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM. The
Funeral Service is at 11:00 AM. There will be a graveside service
and luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Myasthenia Gravis
Foundation of America or Samaritan’s Purse would be appreciated.
