Michael Raymond Barrett

Michael Raymond Barrett, 66, of Greenbelt, MD, passed away on August 17, 2026. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Joel) Justice, his grandchildren, Elijah, Simon, and Hylia Justice; his parents, Raymond and Valerie Barrett; his siblings, Steven, Robert (Sylvia), Daniel (Bonnie), and Lisa (Harry), and a whole host of nieces and nephews.

Michael dedicated over 20 years of service as an Agent with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and was a proud member of Local 100 Sheet Metal Workers Union. Known for his funny personality and warm spirit, he brought laughter to those around him.

A lifelong musician, Michael began playing the guitar in grade school and later shared his talent at open mic nights at the New Deal Cafe and Old Glory Days Cafe. He enjoyed fishing, sitting on the beach, being with family, and above all, spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on September 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland.
