Michael Derwin Wilson

Michael D. Wilson, 76, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 after a long battle with COPD.  He was born May 18, 1946 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to William and June Wilson.  Mike spent over 40 years as a commercial airline pilot.

Mike was an avid boater for most of his life and during retirement enjoyed sailing the Chesapeake Bay waterways with family and friends.  He had a broad circle of friends and always knew how to have a good time.

Mike is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carolyn; his brother William Wilson Jr.; his children Michael Wilson Jr., Brian Norris, Katie Bromley, Christy Hefner, grandchildren Eris Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Kylie Martinez, Josie Smith, Julia Smith, Hanna Hefner, Kye Hefner, Max Bromley, Ava Bromley, Sam Norris, Alex Norris, and Tower Norris.  Mike was preceded in death by is daughter, Andrea.

Mike was an iconic man in our family, the life of the party and lived life to the fullest.  We will miss our Mikey.
