Michelle Lea Poole Washington

Michelle Lee Poole, a vibrant and unforgettable spirit, passed away at the age of 48, surrounded by love and memories that will last a lifetime.

She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, cherished sister, and dear friend whose presence left a mark on every heart she touched.

Michelle is lovingly survived by her three children, Christian Washington, Quentin Washington, and Ariana Washington, along with her cherished grandchildren, Leo and Jace. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she adored them deeply.

She is also survived by her siblings, Jesse Poole (Karen) and Tammy Poole,as well as her nephew, Timmy Davis. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Diane and Jesse Pool Sr., whose legacy continues to live on through the family they created.

Michelle was known for her bold personality and boundless energy. Always the life of the party, she danced to the beat of her own drum and wasn’t afraid to be herself—unfiltered, unapologetic, and full of fire. She had a signature phrase for those who challenged her: “I’m grown.” It was more than just words—it was how she lived.

She was also an incredible cook. Her meals brought people together, and her food—just like her spirit—was full of flavor, warmth, and soul.

Though her journey had its challenges, Michelle’s life was filled with moments of love, laughter, and joy. Her memory will live on through the stories shared, the recipes passed down, and the strength of the family she helped shape.

A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held with family and friends at Beall Funeral Home, in Bowie MD on September 27th from 2-4. In honoring her, we remember not just how she left us—but how she lived: boldly, lovingly, and entirely on her own terms.
