Nancy J. Freil

Nancy J. Freil of Lanham, MD passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA to Stella and George Wolfram and was the youngest of 9 children.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edmund N. Freil, and 3 daughters Karen Stutzman (Arthur Blair Stutzman, Jr.), Jacqueline Edinger, and Donna Robey. She was a proud Grandmother to 8 grandchildren, Tara Edinger, David Edinger, Lori McFarland, Matthew Edinger, Ashley Sanchez, Amy Connors, Katelynn Edinger, and Joey Robey as well as 11 great-grandchildren, Michaela, Madison, Makenzie, Kayleigh, Alivia, Marissa, Liam, Emmerson, Ellie, Eli, Ryan and 1 on the way.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm with a Liturgy of the Word from 4:00pm - 5:00pm at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, MD. A private interment will take place at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
