It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy Mulloy Redmond. She passed away early on the morning of Sunday, April 14th at the age of 89. Nancy was born on December 30th 1934 in Washington DC. She grew up in Bethesda, MD and went to St Mary’s Catholic Boarding School in Leonard Town, MD. She met James Redmond (died 1983) through friends. They later married in 1954 and lived in Aspen Hill MD where they raised their 4 daughters., After the death of Jim, Nancy met and married Eugene Mower. They spent many happy years in Ocean City, MD until his passing in 2009. Nancy was a homemaker for most of her life. Her hobbies included: reading, watching HGTV, taking care of her houseplants and many pets over the years.
She is survived by her daughters: Martha Redmond, Maureen Redmond, Jane McKenzie, Susan Wood, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held for immediate family members at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please give to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
