Parvaneh Arshadi

Born on September 6, 1938, in Esfahan, Iran, to Hosein Arshadi and Touran Dourandish, Parvaneh grew up and was educated in Esfahan. In 1958, she married the love of her life, Jahanshah Foroozandeh Shahraki.Parvaneh dedicated over 19 years of her life to education as an elementary school teacher and vice principal. She adored her schoolchildren and often had heartwarming stories to share with her family. Her love for her family was clear from the moment you met her. During her childhood, some of her fondest memories were spending her afternoons jumping rope with her sisters. She cherished every family gathering where she could be with the people she loved most, sharing stories, laughter, and food. Every Persian New Year (Norooz), Parvaneh would make her special sweet treats, Sohaan and Zoolbia, to share with her family. Parvaneh’s passion for language and expression was woven into her world through the beautiful poems she wrote, each one a testament to her deep love for life and humanity. She was preceded in death by her sisters Fakhri Arshadi and Mehri Arshadi. 

She is survived by her husband Jahanshah Foroozandeh Shahraki; her children Hamid Shahraki, Majid Shahraki, and Navid Shahraki; her grandchildren Dorotea Shahraki, Ramin Shahraki, Arman Shahraki, Amir Shahraki, Gabriela Shahraki, Jeremiah Shahraki, Laila Shahraki, Iman Shahraki, Rana Shahraki, and Rian Shahraki; and her great grandchildren Sienna Shahraki, Chiara Shahraki, Skyla Shahraki, Savannah Shahraki, Soraya Shahraki, Sebastian Shahraki, and Selina Shahraki. Pallbearers will be Ramin Shahraki, Amir Shahraki, Jeremiah Shahraki, Iman Shahraki, Rian Shahraki, and Robert Arshadi. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland. Arrangements are entrusted to Beall Funeral Home.
