Patrice K.A. McRae

Patrice Kester Arlington McRae, 47, of Mt. Rainier, MD, passed away on April 17, 2026 in Manasses, VA.

He was born on May 19th, 1978 in Linden, Guyana to Jean London-Page and Samuel McRae. He began his education at Murray Elementary School and later attended Hyattsville Elementary School, where he played the clarinet. He continued his studies at Hyattsville Middle School and Northwestern High School.

At his core, Patrice deeply loved his family, especially his daughters, grandson, and friends. He was always willing to help those around him, encouraging others to be their best and hoping to keep his family close and connected. Though he was not a wealthy man, whenever he had the opportunity to do something special for someone he cared about, he did so with genuine joy and enthusiasm.

Patrice was no stranger to hard work. Whether assisting with a backyard project, roofing, or working in construction, he approached every task with dedication and pride. He found fulfillment in seeing a job through to completion, knowing he had contributed his time, effort, and care.

Patrice Kester Arlington McRae is survived by his wife, Naja, daughters, Tania, Taija, stepdaughter, Nevaeh , grandson, Jayden, his mother, Jean, siblings and a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Mildred London, father, Samuel and nephew, Felix.
