It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Patricia Ann Beverly of Landover, MD at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center on May 4, 2025, at the age of 66.
Patricia was born October 13, 1958, at Fort Meade, MD, but grew up in Washington, DC. She attended Frank W. Ballou Sr. High where she was active in ROTC and track and field. She worked various jobs in retail and restaurant services. She relocated to Zanesville, Ohio where she lived for several years before returning to Maryland.
Patricia was known for her quirky and unusual personality. Despite medical issues, she stayed upbeat and would always describe herself as being “Splendid.” As a youngster, Patricia demonstrated artistic talent through line art and comics. Known for her love of music from the 70s and 80s, she could be found “gettin’ down” to her favorite songs at family events. A diehard Washington Commanders/Redskins fan, she cheered on her favorite team every Sunday during football season. Patricia was also an animal lover and enjoyed tending to and loving on her kitties – Bella and Kai.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Beverly, Sr., of Columbia, MD.
Patricia is survived by her devoted daughter, LeAnna Beverly; her loving mother, Marie Beverly; her sisters, Veronica Beverly, Pamela Beverly, and VaLerie Hill; her brothers Louis Beverly, Jr. and Christopher Beverly; her sister-in-law, Cecil Beverly; and brother-in-law, Adrian Hill.
A memorial gathering in honor of Patricia will be held on Wednesday May 21, 2025, from 1-3 pm at Beall's Funeral Home in Bowie, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA Humane Society of Prince George’s County.
