Patricia Ann Jackson

Patricia Ann Jackson, 76, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026. 

Patty was a cherish and loved member of her family, her church, and her community.

She is preceded on death by her Mother and Father, Dorothy and Henry Miller, and her brothers Timothy and William Miller. She is survived by her loving Husband, Gary Jackson, Brother and Sister-in-law Michael (Mary) Miller, many nieces and nephews, and many other friends and loved ones. 

Patty had ensured she had gotten an education by getting her diploma in 1968 from St. Patrick's Academy and made a lifelong friend along the way. She was a dedicated employee, starting her career assisting the Navy then moving to working as a Government Contractor, and finishing her career by working as a Protocol Officer with the State Dept. for over 35 years until her retirement. 

She had a love for life that she often shared with those around her. She was an avid football fan, frequently going to games with her friends and husband. Loved to travel early on in her marriage but always having a fondness for the beach, where she and her husband would visit the most. And although not described with a green thumb, she loved gardens and would always find beauty in the assortment of flowers that would surround her. 

For those who would like to attend, the Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 10-11am at Holy Family Church in Mitchellville, MD with the Funeral Mass following at 11am. The Burial will be held at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, VA  immediately following the mass. 

Patricia was loved by many friends, family, and colleagues throughout her life and she will be dearly missed.
