Pravanthika Alluri, lovingly known as Pravi, age 31, passed away on January 11, 2026, in Maryland. She was born on January 3, 1995, in Visakhapatnam (Vizag), India, and later grew up in Maryland, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections.
From a young age, Pravi was a joyful, humorous, and deeply caring child. She had a beautiful way of showing love—by making others laugh, remembering the little things people cherished, and ensuring everyone felt included. Her laughter filled every room, and she had a rare gift for drawing people into conversations and making them feel truly seen, valued, and loved.
Pravi’s love for her parents was boundless. She was deeply devoted to them and fiercely protective of them, always watching over them with care and concern. Her parents were her world, and she expressed her love through constant support, attentiveness, and an unwavering presence. The bond they shared was one of deep affection, trust, and devotion.
She also shared a special bond with her big brother, who always saw her as his baby sister. Together, they were inseparable—often getting into trouble, laughing, and playfully fighting, only to immediately unite as a team whenever someone came between them. Their relationship was built on loyalty, mischief, and unconditional love, and those shared moments remain treasured memories.
Pravi completed her bachelor’s degree and went on to work as a software developer at IBM, bringing intelligence, dedication, and sincerity to everything she did.
She loved watching movies and critiquing them with the intensity and insight of a true professional—thoughtfully analyzing every scene, performance, and detail, often with humor and passion. She also loved to travel and experience the world, with Paris holding a special place in her heart—a city she visited with her beloved mother, creating memories she cherished deeply.
Music was Pravi’s escape and her joy. She loved to sing and was lovingly known as our nightingale. Through her voice and her love of music, she shared comfort, happiness, and warmth with those around her.
Pravi’s heart had an endless capacity for love, especially for her beloved dog, Happy, whom she treated like her little brother. She adored him deeply, and he could almost always be found following her wherever she went. Pravi taught Happy countless tricks, carried him around like a baby, and showered him with affection. Their bond was one of pure love and companionship, and Happy will miss her dearly.
Pravi was preceded in death by her beloved mother, father, and brother. Though her time on this earth was far too short, the love she gave, the joy she brought, and the light she shared will never fade. She was deeply loved, endlessly cherished, and will be missed beyond words. Her laughter, her music, and her gentle spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
