Regina Lee Miller

Regina Lee Miller was born December 13, 1954, to Edith Marie and Robert Lee Maurer. She peacefully passed away surrounded by family on December 23, 2025, 10 days after celebrating her 71st birthday.

She grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland, with 3 older sisters: Terry, Pat, and Bobbie. She graduated from Wheaton High School and attended Prince George’s Community College later in life. She was a legal secretary in DC for environmental law firm Beveridge & Diamond for over 25 years.

Regina was the epitome of kind, fun, and loving. An avid Disney fan and a lifelong supporter of the Commanders, Ravens, and Nationals, she had a particularly special love for wildlife, especially giraffes.She participated in many runs and walks, for both charity and enjoyment. Regina loved playing the slot machines at the casino with her dad and Terry. You could catch her getting competitive at mini golf, dancing away wherever music was present, and taking pictures everywhere she went. She enjoyed spending time with family and being fully present with her loved ones.

She is survived by her three children, Amanda, Jon, and Mary; her two sisters, Terry and Bobbie; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father and her sister Pat, whom she always cherished visiting at Gate of Heaven cemetery after their passings.

Regina will be forever remembered as pure sunshine — an adored soul with a natural light that people drifted toward.

A funeral service in her honor will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2025, at 8 p.m. at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie, MD 20715. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service..
