Richard J. Mulhare, Jr.

April 28, 1964 — December 6, 2021

Richard Joseph Mulhare, Jr., age 57, of Bowie, Maryland, entered into God’s eternal glory on the morning of December 6th, 2021. He was surrounded by his daughter and sons during his final days. He is now reunited forever and always with his sweetheart, Jenny.

Richard was born in Newark, New Jersey to the late Richard and Maureen Mulhare. He was the beloved and loyal husband of the late Jeannine Mulhare as well as the loving, devoted, and proud father of Richard Mulhare III, Megan (James) Paquin, and Sean Mulhare. He was the dear brother of Andy (Annalisa) Zimmerman, Michael (Betty) Conmy, Mari (Erle) Marion, Paul (Hang) Mulhare, Nora (James) Wiley, John Mulhare, and Joseph (Jenny) Mulhare, as well as the loving uncle to 34 nieces and nephews.

He grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland where he graduated from Northwestern High School, class of 1983. On October 14th, 1989, he married the love of his life, the former Jeannine Frank, and they went on to live in Bowie, Maryland, raising their family together. Richard's career consisted of 28 years as an Executive Salesman at House of Printing, Inc. in Burtonsville, Maryland. In addition to his work life, he enjoyed 20 years of coaching basketball, baseball, and softball for St. Mark's and St. Pius.

Throughout his life, Richard took the time to make hundreds of friends among his community, his St. Mark’s family, and his parish of Sacred Heart. He was filled with extreme enthusiasm and optimism no matter the circumstance, he always had a story to share or advice to give, and he was always eager to lend a helpful hand to everyone he crossed paths with. It was these genuine qualities that brought him the love, admiration, and utmost respect of his family and friends.

Richard's passions in life were his family, hunting, fishing, going to the beach, and treasure hunting. He marched to the beat of his own drum and truly enjoyed life to the fullest. May he rest in peace.
