Sadie E. McEachin

Sadie E. McEachin, age 91, peacefully received her heavenly wings on November 15, 2025. She was born on January 16, 1934, in Fairmount, North Carolina, the beloved daughter of caring and devoted parents, a hardworking tobacco farmer and a loving homemaker, who shaped her gentle spirit and strong values. 

Sadie married the love of her life, Turnbo McEachin, and together they shared 47 beautiful years of marriage until his passing on April 15, 2003. Their union was one built on faith, devotion, and deep affection, and from that love came their greatest joys: three children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. 

Sadie loved sewing, home design, and gardening, both in her Maryland home and at her farmhouse in North Carolina. Above all, her greatest happiness came from the moments she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Sadie leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering love. She is survived by her children Thomas McEachin, Kimela McEachin, and L’Tonya McEachin; grandchildren Bre’Auna Frazier, Bradley Brown (Kelley Brown), Joelle Frazier, Ila Brown, and Joel Frazier II; and great-grandchildren Adaya Frazier-Eagle and Ava Seay. She is also survived by her brother Charles Gaddy; sister-in-law, Evelyn Gaddy; nieces Elois Williams (Larry Williams) and Linda Chatmon; nephew Dennis Gaddy (Jackie Gaddy); and a host of cousins, extended family, and cherished friends.

 Sadie’s warmth, grace, and steadfast love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
