On Saturday, July 21, 2018, Dr. Savas Tsakiris passed away with all his family members by his side. He was a beloved husband of Connie Tsakiris, loving father of Marc Tsakiris and his wife Melina, and Dorothea Tsakiris, cherished grandfather of Savas, Leo, and Connie, devoted son of the late Moskos and Anastasia Tsakiris, dear brother of Kosmas Koukoulis and his wife Kiki, Fifi Kutson and her husband Nick, and Irene DeRito and her husband Carl. Also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, relatives, and friends.
Family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, 2325 York Rd., Timonium, MD on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM with a Trisagion service at 7 PM. Dr. Savas will lie-in-repose at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 24 W. Preston St, Baltimore, MD on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 10-10:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Woodlawn, MD. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation.
