Sharon Elizabeth Blancke (age 73), passed away at home on June 26. Born in Washington D.C. She was the beloved daughter of Eugene and Anna Blancke. She was predeceased by her brother William Eugene Blancke.
She is survived by her sister, Carole Shehade (Joe), and nephews: Joe Shehade, Chris Shehade, and Stephen Shehade and niece Katie Smith.
She is also predeceased by her partner of 27 years, Ronald Godfrey, and other cousins as well. She worked for over 30 years in the Federal Reserve Board.
Friends will remember her for her great faith and her fondness for her cats.
Her Catholic Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Chapel in Bowie, MD on June 10th. The viewing will be at 10 am, followed by the mass at 11am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Springs, MD at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the charity of your choice in her name.
