Stephen Joseph Eagney, 27, of Crofton, was born on July 27, 1994, and was unexpectantly taken from us on January 9th, 2022.

Steve was a selfless, intelligent, honest and caring man. He graduated from South River High School and cherished his childhood friendships. He considered downtown Annapolis his second home. He had numerous friends and colleagues from the years he spent downtown in the restaurant industry.

He graduated from Anne Arundel Community College in 2015 with an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 

Steve is survived by his mother, Beth Nachtwey Eagney; and Grandparents Don and Jean Nachtwey. He was preceded in death by his father, Matt Eagney; brother, Kyle Eagney and Grandmother, Monica Malone.

The family will receive visitors at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, Bowie, Maryland on Thursday, January 20th, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.  Due to COVID, proper protocols will be in place. Open visitation will be held in place of a service. Masks required when paying respects to the family.
