Susan Elaine Calero, Beloved Mother of three, Grandmother of seven, friend to all. She passed away on Sunday May 18th, 2025 at the age of 71. She was born on April 21st, 1954 in Maryland to her predeceased parents; Mother Edith Cook-Carter of Alabama, a teacher at Riverdale Elementary in Maryland, and Father Daniel Carter of Virginia, an airplane mechanic for Andrew’s Air Force base. She is lived on through her dear younger sister Connie Duvall. Sue was a devoted Mother to her three children; predeceased by her son Daniel Charles Calero, and remembered by her daughter Christina Lee Calero, and her youngest son James Scott Calero. She was known to her Grandchildren as Gram and will be cherished by Hailey, Makayla, Jayden, Noah, Layla, Lily, and Charlie. Sue was an alumni of Salisbury University with a bachelors degree in education and a thirty-six year human resources employee of the WSSC water company in Burtonsville, Maryland. Nature held a special place in her heart, she would always find the rainbow and her happy place was the beach and she loved lighthouses. She cherished the Lord and was a caring Mother, and adored her grandchildren. Susan’s life and legacy of kindness and love will be upheld by her family and friends. Rest easy, dearest spirit. You will always be remembered and loved.
