Tamara Joan Quarles, a retired caregiver gained her wings on May 11, 2024 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. In her final moments she was comfortably surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman of fun, delightfulness, pleasurability, amusement, and whimsy.

Born in Washington DC at Walter Reed General Hospital on October 24, 1948 to the late Wilmina Blackwell and the late James Quarles.

Tamara's favorite things were cooking and being with her cat family "Dusty Bullet and Booty Feet" and her unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.

Proceeding Tamara's death is her son Hollis William McDade III.

Tamara is survived by her daughters, Timora Hawkins and Ilandis Toland - sisters, Dorthea Brown, Robin Smith, and Page Eaton - brothers, Donald Reed, Cornel Quarles, Ira Darrell Quarles, Eric Freeman, and David Freeman brother-in-law, Henry Smith and son-in-law, Donald Hawkins - grandchildren Nolan Dailey, Try Hawkins, Nikki McDade, William Hall III and I'mani Hall and one great grandchild, Safiyaah Williams. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. All of which will continue to honor her legacy by living our lives to the fullest.
