Theodore Pittman, Jr., beloved husband of Tanya, transitioned from this life, at home, in Fort Washington, Maryland, on October 29, 2022, to join his parents Theodore and Maggie, and Billy Rae Charles Marzette, with our Lord Jesus Christ. "Theo" was born on August 27, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland to the union of Theodore and Maggie Frances Pittman.
Theodore was educated in the Washington, D. C. Public School System. He met his partner Dean and was blessed with daughters Simona and Monique, and son Travis. He worked for years in the Washington, D. C. metro area construction industry as a carpenter. Years later he met his partner Lisa, and that union was blessed with daughter Keonna.
After years of working with construction companies he went to work for the Marriott Hotel Corporation. He had advanced to a supervisory position when he met the love of his life Tanya; they were married on June 14, 2019. After Marriott he worked as a self-employed contractor until he became disabled and retired.
He is survived by his wife Tanya, Lucas (grandchildren Eric and Niyah), Hightower and Pickens Family, his daughters Simona Moody-Adams (John) of Oxon Hill, Md., Francetta Monique Pittman- Harris (Trei) of Chapel Hill, NC, Keonna Pittman (Lisa McCollough) of Md., and son Travis Deon of Stafford, Va. He also leaves to mourn brothers Mack Williams (Mabel) of Richmond, Va., McCoy of Rockville, Md., Michael (Cordretta) of Richmond, Va., Kevin Marzette (Kim) of Tracey, Ca., and sisters Mildred Jones (Gilbert-deceased) of Fort Meade, Md., Ruth Brinkley (Calvin) of Hanover, Md., his special relationship with his nephew, Michael "Mike Mike" Carter (Rhonda) of Lanham, Md., a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
