Thomas Edward Moore

Thomas Edward Moore, loving father, grandfather, and friend to many, of Gambrills, MD, died on February 18, 2023 at the age of 70 peacefully in Annapolis, MD. Born on August 23, 1952 to the late Ella and Charles “Popeye” Moore, III and raised in Upper Marlboro, MD, Tom attended Crossland Vocational High School where he graduated in 1970. He began working for Safeway and retired after nearly 40 years as Chief Engineer, which he was very proud of. On August 16, 1975, he married the love of his life Debra Harris, who lost her battle to cancer in 2010. Tom is survived by his beloved daughter, Keri Moore, granddaughter Cadence Shelnutt, sister Lynn Price, brother Dean Moore and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and eldest sister, Janet Duty. His illness was brief and surely will be missed.
