Van K. Hoang

Van K. Hoang, was the oldest of eight children. She left them behind as well as her husband Andre Navarrete. First diagnosed with a heart failure in 2002, Van never let it stop her. She learned to pace her herself and continued to enjoy life to her fullest. Van loved traveling, from ocean kayaking in Hawaii, to Walt Disney World, she enjoyed every minute. Even when Van couldn't ride the attractions at the amusement parks, she loved the parades and seeing happy people. At home she enjoyed her garden.

Van treated everyone she met fairly, and was always happy when people she didn't know found her so approachable that they had to start a conversation. She loved animals and had several dogs that were waiting for her on the other side. A truly caring individual, Van took care of her friends and family and fed the birds in her yard, the stray cats, the squirrels, opossums and even racoons. Her favorite place was the beach, she always enjoyed the sun and warm weather.

Van was full of love and happiness, and tried to share it with everyone she knew. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
