Vincent Allan Harrison of Lanham, Maryland passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 81 at home surrounded by loving family.
He was born in Washington, DC to Edward & Anne Harrison and lived in Maryland for his entire life.
Survived by: His beloved wife, Linda Mae Blaine. He was an adored and loving father to two sons: Reginald E Harrison (Kathy) and David R Harrison (Michelle). He was a Grandfather “Paw-Paw” to Brit Harrison, Maxwell Harrison (Samantha), Matthew Harrison, and Steven Baker. Great Grandfather to Elliott Maymir. Sisters, Betty Wooten and Alice Maynard. Preceded in death by brothers, Paul Harrison and Edward Harrison.
He and his wife Linda owned and managed their own appliance repair business for over 40 years, servicing the MD, DC and VA area. He worked to the age of 75, when he was forced to retire for health reasons. He had many long-standing customers, from consumers at large to professional real estate management companies. He served his customers with great integrity. Even though his business operation was modest, he was recognized several times by leading business review magazines.
He and his wife Linda owned a weekend retreat in Cobb Island, Maryland where they spent countless weekends fishing on their boat, cooking, and spending time with family.
Vincent’s favorite pastime was spending some time at the horse racing track with his friends, Including Mikey V. and Mike B. and many other friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vincent’s name to Prince George’s Hospice.
