With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Walter W. Walls Jr. who entered into eternal life on March 5, 2023. He was a native New Yorker, but spent his formative years in Pottsville, PA.  At a young age Walter had an entrepreneurial spirit creating his own Uber Eats bicycle delivery service in his town of Pottsville. He had a great love for music; his journey began with the Flutophone, today he played the Tenor and Soprano saxophones. He performed gigs with musicians/friends in Philly, with a big band group in Baltimore, and around the DC metro-area. The Jazz Workshop was his spot to bond over a shared love of music. Walter never met a stranger; he was a great listener, and a very peaceful man. Family, friends, and all those who knew him will remember his warm smile, generous heart & good vibes.
